People with diabetes tend to have a bigger appetite. With fluctuating glucose levels it leaves the person looking to replace that low energy that dropped from a higher point. This creates hunger! When our energy lacks because of fluctuating glucose levels, poor sleep patterns or from exercise, we need to replenish that energy—energy is FOOD. The solution is to balance your eating and subsequent glucose levels to reduce cravings. Eating sweets or processed carbohydrates will increase those cravings as well.
